Mars Bar Trifles with Caramel & Brownies

Mars Bar Trifles with Caramel & Brownies

Ingredients

  • Around 230g 2 cups leftover brownie (or any chocolate cake)
  • 250 ml (1 cup) cream (whipped)
  • 1-2 (55g) Mars bars (chopped into pieces)
  • 1/2 tin 200g caramel (dulce de leche) or your own homemade
  • chocolate sauce and decorations

Instructions

  1. Crumble the brownie or chop into pieces and using half, divide into four and assemble in the bottom of bowls or glasses. Push down gently to try to get it fairly level.
  2. Spoon over a little caramel in each, top with some cream and then a sprinkling of chopped Mars.
  3. Repeat with the remaining ingredients (keep around 1 tablespoon of caramel for later), finishing off with the cream.
  4. Add a touch of milk to the retained caramel and drizzle over the cream along with the rest of the chopped Mars. Finish off with melted chocolate or sauce and finally, throw over a few additional chocolate decorations if you so fancy. Place in the fridge until ready to eat. Enjoy!
